So this week was a bit of a backslide, I’ll admit it.
Okay, maybe alot of a backside, but until I finish my time machine what’s done is done.
After last week I had hoped I’d be a little more on the ball when it came to before and after work walks. I did try to rally a bit at the end of the week, it just didn’t work too well. Baby steps, baby steps…
The Plan
The more things don’t change, the more they stay the same… so I probably need to revise this for next week. *sighs*
- Walk 0.5 hours in the morning before work = 0.75 miles
- Walk 1.0 hours in the evening after work = 1.5 miles
- Weekend off for Christmas holiday

Onto Week 4
Since 2mph seems to be my default pace at this point (1.5 feels too slow now) and my apparent inability to do useful things in the morning, I’m going to revise the numbers a bit. I’m tempted to simply put ‘stand on treadmill’ for mornings, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel quite yet.
- Walk 10 minutes in the morning before work (~0.25 miles)
- Walk 1.0 hours in the evening after work (~2 miles)
- Walk 2.0 hours a day on the weekends (~4 miles a day)
- Total goal = 19.25 miles
