It’s odd to say it, but I think I’ve gotten the hang on treadmill leveling down. The corner keybinds are working out well (although with more abilities that will change) and the only deaths I’ve had were from bad pulls that would have killed me without the treadmill.
I even managed to kick things up to 2.5mph while in town, which bodes well for future grinds.
The Plan
- Walk 10 minutes in the morning before work (~0.25 miles)
- Walk 1.0 hours in the evening after work (~2 miles)
- Walk 2.0 hours a day on the weekends (~4 miles a day)
- Total goal = 19.25 miles

Onto Week 6
Okay, so I’m really not meeting these goals well– time to cut things back a bit until I’ve picked up a steadier habit. It’s a lot harder getting out of the ‘once-a-week player’ mindset than I had thought.
I am seriously tempted to just thrown in the towel for the morning portion of this adventure, but I was planning on doing dailies during that time (arg). I haven’t touched my main in forever, mostly because the Cat is 4 Fite! is much harder to do successfully on a treadmill.
So I’m swapping over to dailies on my bank alt, Overdraft. Probably not the most useful thing, in terms of in-game accomplishments, but hopefully it will get me back into the grind. *yawns*
