This little guy was part of a herd I painted as a donation to the Hampton Roads Classic raffle. They might not have been the most impressive of the group, but a group of inch high horses painted in bright glossy colors are great for catching people’s attention. Plus it was fun writing the advertising copy! *grin*

For those of you not familiar with Breyer Mini Whinnies, this little gal is only about an inch tall!

So far she is one of my favorite Mini Whinnies customs. The plastic is softer than the Stablemates and it’s been a bit of a learning curve. I did a pretty good job removing the seams and the ears carved better than I was expecting. Although you can till see some rough spots on the photos (which are several times life size!) in person she looked even better. Continue reading
